Creative Works Creative Works is about transforming imagination into action—creating, connecting, and inspiring to design new possibilities where vision meets impact. Since childhood, I have enjoyed expressing my ideas through different creative forms—writing, design, and storytelling. For me, creative works are not only about aesthetics but also about communication: turning abstract thoughts into tangible experiences that inspire, connect, and spark new possibilities. I embrace experimentation and originality, believing that every creative piece is a chance to push boundaries and discover new perspectives. Innovation and creative practise

  • Public Welfare | Sdgs

Public Welfare Not just to know, but to care—and to act for the common good. My interest in public welfare stems from a deep belief that everyone deserves equal access to opportunity, dignity, and support. Growing up, I witnessed how social systems can empower—but also overlook—certain communities. These experiences motivated me to explore how education, policy, and community action can be combined to create meaningful change. I have actively participated in [volunteer programs / community projects / NGO internships] that serve underrepresented or marginalized groups. Through these efforts, I’ve learned that lasting impact requires not just empathy, but also strategic thinking, collaboration, and the courage to speak up for justice. My goal is to further study public welfare systems, social equity, and sustainable development so I can contribute to building a society where progress doesn’t leave anyone behind. I believe education is not just a personal journey, but a powerful tool for creating change—for individuals, communities, and the world. The team planted dozens of coral seedlings in a rehabilitation pool, hoping they will flourish and provide essential shelter for diverse marine life. Combining the school’s club values with its life sciences curriculum, the participants engaged in both coral restoration and coastal cleanup activities along the abalone pools. The group upheld environmental responsibility by abstaining from sunscreen use throughout the event to avoid harming water quality and coral growth. Wu Yu-Lun, president of the Sustainable Campus Life Club, shared, “Coral reefs are incredibly rich in biodiversity. This is our second year participating in coral restoration. It’s not only meaningful for protecting marine habitats, but also allows us to understand the challenges of underwater work.” Marine conservation has become a global priority. The 14th goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) emphasizes the importance of conserving and sustainably using ocean ecosystems to preserve biodiversity and prevent marine degradation. Increasing the proportion of protected marine habitats is essential to ensuring that ocean resources can be sustainably used by future generations. However, due to human activities and the ongoing climate crisis, marine species face mounting threats. “Coral Mama” Chen Ying-Ling noted, “Rising ocean temperatures, acidification, marine debris, and overfishing are all stressing the ocean. Marine resources are no longer inexhaustible—they must be carefully managed and regulated.” Coral reef ecosystems are among the most productive on Earth, supporting over 25% of all marine species, which rely on reefs for feeding, shelter, breeding, and even spending their entire life cycles. Coral bleaching is a stark warning that the surrounding environment is deteriorating and the reefs are dying. Chen emphasized, “Through coral restoration, we hope to raise public awareness about the vital role of coral reef ecosystems. These actions can foster greater appreciation for marine habitats and inspire students to develop a strong sense of volunteerism. By providing nature-loving youth with meaningful opportunities, we empower them to take local actions that contribute to the global movement to protect our planet.”

  • Academic | Sdgs

Academic Fueled by curiosity, empowered by knowledge to make a difference. Since childhood, I have been deeply curious about how the world works. This curiosity has led me to observe the hidden patterns behind everyday phenomena and inspired me to think about how knowledge can be applied in practical, meaningful ways. I often explore beyond the textbook—reading supplementary materials, asking questions, and actively participating in class discussions. These experiences have helped me realize that true learning goes beyond memorization; it is a process of thinking critically, questioning deeply, and connecting ideas across contexts. My passion for academics is not driven by grades or competition, but by a genuine desire—to understand the world more clearly, to ask questions that have no easy answers, and to contribute my insights and ideas in a meaningful way.
